Auto Tune-Up
An Auto Tune-Up includes preventative maintenance and factory recommended maintenance. The maintenance recommendations will vary from vehicle to vehicle based on age and mileage.
An Auto Tune Up starts with the following:
Check appearance of spark plugs.
Test the performance of spark plugs. What color is the spark? Is the spark properly igniting the fuel?
Check spark plug wire.
Check the fuel filter.
Check the engine’s fuel pump for proper function.
Inspect the engine’s fuel injectors.
Adjust the engine timing and idle if necessary.
Check that the PCV valve isn’t blocked or leaking.
Inspect the vehicle’s points and condenser
